AbbVie Duopa Patient Assistance Program

AbbVie sponsors a program called DuoConnect which offers many patient support services including financial assistance. Connecticut AIDS Drug Assistance Program

This program pays for drugs determined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to prolong the life of people with AIDS, or HIV infection. To be eligible for the program in Connecticut, an individual must have a physician certification that the individual has HIV infection, HIV disease or AIDS, must not be a recipient of Medicaid, and must have net countable income within 400% of the Federal Poverty Level. In addition, the individual must apply for Medicaid within two weeks of approval for this program.

The department receives federal funding for the program under Ryan White Title II grants that are awarded to the Department of Public Health.

Korlym Pateint Assistance Program

Renvela® Medicare Part D Assistance Program

PDAP provides a free supply of Renvela® (sevelamer carbonate) to eligible patients with Medicare Part D who cannot afford their co-payments or co-insurance for their prescriptions.

The Charitable Access Program (CAP Program)

Because many of the conditions that Genzyme's therapies treat are rare, our patients often face challenges with insurers that are unfamiliar with these diseases and their unique therapies. Many people encounter restrictions in their coverage – or have no medical coverage at all. The Charitable Access Program provides such assistance.

NORD Patient Assistance Program

Sometimes insurance coverage takes time to kick in. This can happen because of normal processing time, but coverage can also be delayed if your initial claim is denied and your NordiCare® Case Manager is working through the appeals process. If there will be a delay in getting insurance coverage, your Case Manager may talk with you about the JumpStart™ program, through which you can receive free Norditropin® (somatropin [rDNA origin] injection) as long as your insurance claim is actively in process. You will never have to repay NordiCare® for this medication, even if your claim is eventually denied. Even after your insurance coverage begins, there may be times that JumpStart™ can help out. This program provides 1,000 eligible patients with monthly supplies of ZUBSOLV as prescribed by their physician at no charge. Patients must demonstrate continued eligibility every six months. Medicines Company Patient Assistance Program

Washington State's AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) is known as the Early Intervention Program (EIP).

The Early Intervention Program (EIP) provides services to help eligible persons with HIV get the medications and assistance with insurance premium payments they need to improve and maintain their health.

Washington DC AIDS Drug Assistance Program

The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) operates in the District of Columbia and provides HIV-related prescription drugs to underinsured and uninsured individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

West Virginia AIDS Drug Assistance Program

AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs) are state administered programs that provide HIV/AIDS medications to low-income individuals living with HIV disease who have little or no coverage from private or third party insurance. ADAPs were originally authorized by the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act, which was enacted in 1990, and reauthorized in 1996 and again in 2000. Currently, ADAPs are authorized under the Ryan White HIV/ADIS Treatment Modernization Act of 2006. The intent of state and federal legislation is to assure that ADAP funds are used only for the purchase of ADAP formulary drugs that cannot be paid for through other sources. ADAP must be the payor of last resort.

Wisconsin AIDS/HIV Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)

The Wisconsin AIDS/HIV Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), authorized by s. 49.686 of the Wisconsin statutes, is designed to maintain the health and independence of persons living with HIV infection in Wisconsin by providing access to HIV-related antiretroviral drugs and prophylactic medications as well as vaccines for hepatitis A and B. The ADAP formulary also includes hepatitis C virus (HCV) medications for persons co-infected with HIV and HCV.

Wyoming AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)

The Wyoming Department of Health's HIV/AIDS Treatment and ADAP Program provides persons living with HIV/AIDS access to comprehensive health care and other supportive services. These programs serve as the payer of last resort for persons who are uninsured, under-insured, or are otherwise unable to access medical treatment. Funding for these programs is provided, in part, by grants from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources Services Administration, and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Xubex Patient Assistance Program

Xubex Patient Assistance Program (PAP) is a program which helps patients who can't afford their high cost medications. It helps qualifying patients who do not have prescription drug coverage to get free or low-cost medicines through the public or private programs that's suited for them.
